"Sky's Mirror" by Abhijit Banik using Catchphrase " Sky finds a mirror when the courtyard goes under water /উঠোন যখন ডুবে যায়, আকাশ নতুন আয়না পায়"

The beautiful painting that displays praise worthy artistic skill. Surreal depiction of the idea, reminds me of Dali - water, cloud, paper origami - makes you look at the extended balcony twice - but do not see any technical problems... very simply represented. Aligns perfectly with the catch phrase- JURY

An appreciable artistic representation of the catch phrase comes out through the appropriate use of tempera paint. The psychological analysis of the inner conflict within a human personality is expressed beautifully through the overlapping of images and layering of colours. Almost a dreamlike visual! Looks really cool! The usage of memory ,nostalgia and melancholy blends the artwork with a heart touching emotions. The overlapping juxtaposition of the past and the present versions of the artistic persona reemphasizes this idea further. Wonderfully evocative of miniature paintings.The usage of bold colours and specific outlines lends the painting with a unique quality which is appreciable. I always like red sky and yellow river - the trees and plants reminded me of miniature paintings of India - overall pleasing - brings a smile on my face.A better alignment with the catch phrase is desirable.The explanation provided by the artist requires greater emotional connection and asthetic clarity. A topic close to my heart. Beautiful illustration. The artwork is emblamatic of art being a perfect medium of protest and resistance. The extremely skilful usage of symbolism ,the use of colours and the minute detailing ensured through the use of newspaper background deserves appreciation. An intricately done artwork that conveys the rootless reality of the weaving industry. The symbolic representation of the identity crisis of the weavers- specially the use of the encircled roll of weaved cloth is truly commendable. A very different kind of story telling. Absolutely love the approach and style. In spite of being an ambitious literary adaptation, poetry made its presence felt. The choice of watercolour artwork is ideal for capturing fluid emotional moods by successfully condensing a long narrative while preserving its core essence- JURY
"অভিশপ্ত রাত/ Haunted night" by Subarsa Chakraborty.








Appreciable genre storytelling and atmospheric dread. The high-contrast black-and-white art style and blending of folklore horror builds psychological tension effectively. Antu's internal conflict is quite palpable, although why Antu from being a werewolf, is back to his self is unclear. Loved the power dynamics between characters. Visually so exciting. Strokes are so sound and strong.-JURY

Very nicely done. Like the story telling. An exploration of dreamscapes and reality but barely evocative and existential. Digital illustration serves the ethereal atmosphere- JURY

"The anomaly" by Meghasree Barua.

Idea is praiseworthy. Sensitive social themes surrounding body image also came out well.. Finely depicts the struggle and emotional turmoil the girl goes through and the revival. The dramatization in drawing could have perhaps brought more essence to the story- JURY.
"Breaking the myths" by Sukriti Bhowmick.

A very much necessary lesson in today’s time. . Loved the way light applied to the illustrations to make them stand out of a mythical concept.- JURY
