Trailblazer Award

“A soothing portrayal of cohabiting human society and the nature bearing a mark of originality of expression. Its brilliant composition and palette remind one of tempera works by Ganesh Pyne.”– JURY.
Also, a Mastercrafter award winning artwork:
“The cage” by the Artist sing Catchphrase “Spinning around “I”/আপনারে শুধু ঘেরিয়া ঘেরিয়া, ঘুরে মরি পলে পলে”.

“Beautiful composition and extremely evocative work. The imagery shows a refelctive mind but use of the catchphrase is not quite appropriate.”– JURY.
“I lost myself here” by Farhaad Mondal using No Catchphrase.

“Skilful depiction of the nostalgic theme of one’s childhood spent in poor living conditions. The simplicity of expression makes it endearing to the viewers. Expect to see more thoughtfully-made creations from the artist in the future.”– JURY.
Dreamspinner Award
Land Under The Dust” by Ajay Gorai using No catchphrase

“Brilliant use of ‘collected dust’ as a medium and extremely skilful capturing of the landscape. A bold experiment. Keep it up.“- JURY.
Mastercrafter Award
“Where I Ends, She Begins” by Isha Chowdhury using Catchphrase ” Spinning around “I”/আপনারে শুধু ঘেরিয়া ঘেরিয়া, ঘুরে মরি পলে পল ে”.

“The work combines symbols and motifs and captures motion really well. Good idea and composition with competent use of colours.”– JURY.
“Untitled” by Simi Deka using No Catchphrase.

“Extremely sensitive depiction of the aquatic world. A collection of attractive monochrome frames placed in a spiralic sequence, which is interesting but not very evident to a viewer.”– JURY.
“Sledging” by Chittrak Chakraborty using Catchphrase “Spinning around “I”/আপনারে শুধু ঘেরিয়া ঘেরিয়া, ঘুরে মরি পলে পলে”

“Brilliant depiction of a personal experience through a visual metaphor. Very good work reflecting good thinking but does not seem to be inspired by the catchphrase.”– JURY.
“Urbanization” by Brintika Pal using Catchphrase “Where have all the flowers gone/ফুলগুলি সব কোথায় গেলো?”

“The urban is captured and evoked through the medium really well. Interesting palette of mix-and-match shades, but the composition could have been better.”– JURY
“Relation” by Souvik Banerjee using Catchphrase “Imagine there is no country … /সীমানা ছাড়িয়ে যাও না হারিয়ে”

“Extremely intelligent visual depiction of all that exists within and beyond the petty politics of nationalism. Very good thinking. Keep it up.”- JURY.
“Cloudy sky” by Baishakhi Paul using No Catchphrase.

“A subversive and unique take on the topic, which is equally skilfully rendered. All the frames are well composed.”– JURY.
“Still life study” by Rubayya Sultana using No Catchphrase.

“A wonderful old school still life done masterfully.”– JURY.
Two “Untitled” artworks by Ahana Saha using Catchphrases “Imagine there is no country … /সীমানা ছাড়িয়ে যাও না হারিয়ে” and “Blade of sunlight/রোদের ছুরি” respectively.

“The composition emotes a certain softness. Good composition and interesting palette.”– JURY on Untitled 2.
“Great interpretation of the theme. Apt use of the medium. The creative mind of the artist has made a thoughtful use of the catchphrase.”– JURY on Untitled 1.
“Break the binding” by Debasish Adhikary using Catchphrase “Imagine there is no country … /সীমানা ছাড়িয়ে যাও না হারিয়ে.”

“Brilliant interpretation of the theme, though apparently unrelated to the catchphrase! Extremely evocative! Excellent use of colours. Bold thinking. Keep it up.”– JURY.
“Abandoned” by Sohini Roy using Catchphrase “Where have all the flowers gone/ফুলগুলি সব কোথায় গেলো?”

“A very creative interpretation of the catchphrase. A very skilful work in water colour.”– JURY.
“না হারিয়ে”/”Not lost” by Soumitra Ghosh using Catchphrase “Imagine there is no country … /সীমানা ছাড়িয়ে যাও না হারিয়ে”

“A skilfully created digital image drawing inspiration from the catchphrase. The use of the solitary figure harks one back to the old monastic landscape scrolls of China.”– JURY.
Budding Weaver Award
“Blade of sunlight/রোদের ছুরি” by Suchana Maji using Catchphrase “Blade of sunlight/রোদের ছুরি”.

“An engaging portrait with skilled use of the watercolour medium. Interesting use of the catchphrase.”– JURY.
“Kazi Nazrul Islam” by Aritra Bag using No Catchphrase.

“Interesting choice of an older, more aged portrait of Nazrul for the composition, in mixed collage medium.”– JURY.
“The Weight of Silence” by Sananda Ghosh using Catchphrase “Where have all the flowers gone/ফুলগুলি সব কোথায় গেলো?”

“A grimly emotive, empathetic and beautiful piece using a Rembrandt-esque colour palette.“- JURY.
Graphic Story
Mastercrafter Award
“Where are my Keys?” by Eva Prakash.

“Nice concept and clear storytelling. The idea comes through well in the storyboard. But not out of the box, needs more humor. The drawings could have been a little better.”– JURY.
“A Minute With The Master” by Subarsa Chakraborty.

“Very imaginative and thoughtfully done. Strong idea. Storyboard shows solid visual storytelling skills. Absolutely a good piece of work both in respect of idea and skill. Loved the presentation of frames.”– JURY.
“অপেক্ষা/ An wait” by Joyee Chakraborty .

“Good and important idea. Novel way to spread social message. Visualization could be more impactful to support it better. Could not read the the textual matter. However appreciate the effort of bringing forth such an idea.”– JURY.
“The secret of Ma Durga’s gift” by Shibani Sarkar.

“Good and important idea. Novel way to spread social message. Visualization could be more impactful to support it better. Could not read the the textual matter. However appreciate the effort of bringing forth such an idea.”– JURY.
“Joba” by Sohini Senapati .

“Very appealing boards, but the story feels underdeveloped and could use more depth.”– JURY.
“Upohar/Gift” by Mayuri Bachar.

“Very heart warming and simple. Nice flow of the story through graphics — touching and heartfelt. The drawings need to be improved.”– JURY.
Budding Weaver Award
“Salt Of My Life” by Fiza Tarafdar.

“A neatly executed idea around a mother’s love, very touching. The Tata Salt comparison felt a bit forced.”– JURY.
“doctARi” by Mainak Dutta .

“The idea is good. Nice style that draws interest to see more. However, the narrative feels underdeveloped, needs more clarity. The other character in last frame does not match the MANGA form of art.”– JURY.
We are looking for someone just like you.
